What is KnoCard’s Unique Selling Proposition?

Our main focus is in helping bridge the gap between business owners and the communities they service. Members of the KnoCard community have the ability to locate desired products/services in any desired area, view all of the information that the business owner would like to present, and communicate easily. Business owners have the option of measuring the interest levels of KnoCard Community members through detailed tracking and reporting.

Is KnoCard an international app?

A.

Our initial release includes U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico however international expansion is planned.

Can I earn money with KnoCard?

A.

Currently we do not offer an affiliate program.

Q.

Can I use my own domain name for my KnoCard?

A.

Yes; in fact we encourage our customers to take advantage of KnoCard’s versatility and use it as a primary website (in addition to its many other functionalities). In order to use a custom domain, please consult your domain name provider for instructions on pointing your domain to your KnoCard. Note that “Forward with Masking” should not be selected, as this option may interfere with tracking.

Are there any advantages to using KnoCard vs. an app provided by my company?

A.

We’re glad you asked…. and the answer is, definitely! When you use an app provided by your company, in most cases the company will own all data collected. With KnoCard, however, the data is all yours! Should you choose to move to another company, all of the business contacts you’ve made will go with you, housed right on your phone.

I received a link to one of my contacts’ KnoCard’s. How do I get my own?

A.

The KnoCard app is available for download in both the Apple and Google Play stores.

Q.

What are meta tags?

A.

During your KnoCard setup you have the option of adding up to 5 meta tags. These are search terms that will help others in the KnoCard community find you/your business. If you own a landscaping business, for example, you may want to use the terms Landscaper, Snow Plowing, Lawn Care, Tree Trimming, and Gardening.

Why is a Favicon?

A.

Your Favicon is an icon that can be added to the screen on a mobile device, to provide instant access to your KnoCard. People generally use a photo of themselves or a company logo. If you choose not to add a Favicon during setup, your profile picture will be used.

Can I add a menu, price/service list, etc to my KnoCard?

A.

Absolutely! KnoCard has been developed to be used in a multitude of businesses and has implemented the ability for our users to upload a PDF document to showcase such information.

Q.

Why are there 2 setup screens with Profile Picture and Tagline sections?

A.

The second setup screen is available for business owners who would like to include both personal and business information. This is completely optional. Many of our users complete the initial, required setup screen and skip the second.

Q.

If I skip a setup step, will I have the chance to add it at a later time?

A.

Yes, absolutely!

Q.

What if I change jobs, address, email, etc?

A.

Easy peasy… just open your KnoCard and edit the information. No need to buy new business cards or send your new info out to everyone you know.

Q.

What’s the difference between the videos I add to my Playlist and the videos I add to my Gallery?

A.

There are two major differences
1. When you add videos to your Playlist, you’ll have the option of uploading from your mobile device or adding a YouTube/Vimeo link. Gallery videos, however, will include uploaded videos only
2. Our Tracking and Reporting features are available only for Playlist videos. With this option you’ll have detailed reporting on the viewing activity of recipients who have opened your Playlist. This feature does not track and report views from your Gallery.

Q.

Should I upload videos to my Playlist directly from my phone, or is it better for me to post to YouTube/Vimeo and add a link to my Playlist?

A.

Whenever possible we recommend that you shoot your own videos and upload them directly from your phone, to the KnoCard platform. This will keep your viewers from being directed to your competitors’ videos after watching. The ability to add YouTube and Vimeo links has been added for KnoCard customers who wish to utilize corporate or other videos that are posted on third-party sites.

Q.

Can I use in-app messaging to connect with someone outside of the KnoCard community?

A.

In-app messaging can only be performed between KnoCard users, however it is possible to initiate a conversation with a person who does not have a KnoCard. When you send a message from KnoCard, the system will identify whether or not the recipient is a KnoCard user. If not, your message will be delivered through your mobile carrier.

Is KnoCard free?

A.

Yes this is a free app, with in-app purchases available to users who would like to upgrade to premium features and maximize the effectiveness of the app.

Q.

How are billing issues resolved?

A.

Ultimately billing issues are resolved through the app store; however we welcome you to submit any concerns through our Support portal and appreciate the opportunity to help you address any concerns you may have..
